POSITION SUMMARY The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for assisting the restaurant manager with daily restaurant management and oversee all activities of the restaurant in accordance with standardized policies in order to provide efficient, high-quality services and profitable operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Ensure the highest quality products and services are delivered to each customer. • Assist to manage restaurant’s operation in compliance with the company’s standards. • Assist the manager to train and coach crew team, evaluate employees’ performance, recruit and retain crew team. • Assist the manager to make work schedule and keep records of employees’ attendance. • Assist with foods/supplies ordering and inventory control the costs by minimizing waste. • Maintain and repair restaurant facilities. • Performing other work-related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITIES) • Education: High school diploma • Over two years of work experience in the hospitality/food industry, restaurant management experience is a plus • Exceptional team building capability and conflict resolution skills • Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin, multilanguage skills preferred • Demonstration of sufficient computer skills to prepare computer reports as required • Comfortable with fast-paced working environment and willing to work overtime as needed
