Professor Xiaolu Wang is professor of Literature and Cultural Criticism at College of Literature & Journalism and College of Foreign Literature & Cultures, Sichuan University (SCU), China. He serves also as Academic Director of Center for American Studies and chair of Professorship Committee of College of Overseas Education, SCU. He has been an Adjunct Faculty professor at ASU since 2007. He is the Member of the International Advisory Board of CLCWEB: Comparative Literature and Culture and the Executive editor of Comparative Literature: East & West.
Prof. Wang will talk about how Chinese culture has been under transformation within the process of economic drive and the global context.
