介绍：Mercer Education (ME) is a premier school providing tutoring and educational enrichment programs in language, literature, history, math, and science. We also offer academic consulting, college counseling, and admissions prep. Founded in 1999 by Eric Cohen, a graduate of Phillips Academy (Andover) and Harvard University, ME offers a unique learning environment of highly qualified teachers whose rigorous teaching methods and high standards have proven effective in helping students of all levels attain their academic goals. Through the use of its customized, challenging programs, the school has gained a solid reputation evident in our rapid growth and the consistent success of our students. An important aspect to teaching at Mercer Education is the balance between structure and flexibility. On the one hand, we have developed a wide range of materials for students covering beginning ESL to advanced literature, test preparation and writing, and we do have guidelines for what students should be working to achieve depending on the classes they are attending. On the other hand, we strongly believe in hiring engaging, talented teachers who can quickly assess students' needs and direct classes accordingly. We do not micromanage classes but rather provide structure, guidelines and materials as needed. This balance allows the school to provide a positive and productive environment that has proven popular with teachers and effective for students.
